LGP use Styrofoam as the base core material within all panels manufactured. Styrofoam is a premium extruded polystyrene foam product. It offers rigidity, durability, high strength to weight ratios (some 35 times stronger than polystyrene) and excellent thermal performance.

Styrofoam is also a fire rated material and cfc free.

For extra reinforcement, LGP offers the option of adding to the composite a sheet of 9mm MDF. We only use water resistant (green coloured) MDF and we insist on sandwiching the reinforcement layer centrally for optimum performance.
